An audiobook: El Salvaje, by Guillermo Arriaga

The book talks about a teenager, Juan Guillermo, and the revenge he wants to carry out after the death of his family. Three years ago his older brother was killed by the members of a religious cult and, little by little, the other family members ended up dying after the tragedy. To get revenge, Juan Guillermo will have to fight against a group of fundamentalist Catholics who are very well organized and trained to kill, and who also have the support of very rich and powerful people. Juan Guillermo will face very dangerous situations and will try to hold true to his values while facing a corrupt and ethic-less society. In parallel, the author narrates other stories through flashbacks that seem completely disconnected from the main plot, but in the end are related and connected to give a complete meaning to the work.

El Salvaje is available on Amazon.
